The KSeF 2.0 demo is live - but not without problems

The test environment for the KSeF 2.0 e-invoicing system has been made available to taxpayers. However, the first days of testing revealed technical problems that may signal difficulties when the system is fully rolled out. Although the tests are pre-production, for business owners this is a warning sign: it is time to prepare, so that the system's launch does not mean chaos and extra costs.

Where are the biggest challenges?

What does this mean for business owners?

This is not just a technical matter - it is a question of cash flow, costs and the risk of errors. If your invoicing system is not compatible or your staff are not trained, you may face delays in issuing and receiving invoices, which in turn may lead to claims from counterparties or difficulties with settlements.

Companies that operate seasonally, or whose invoicing processes are dispersed and largely manual, are particularly exposed to the negative effects.

What is worth doing today?

  1. Test the KSeF 2.0 demo environment – log in, check authorisation, issue a test invoice and see how your accounting system works.
  2. Update your accounting software or consult your provider – make sure your tools are compatible with the KSeF 2.0 API.
  3. Train your invoicing team – plan training for employees so that errors do not occur when issuing and receiving invoices in the new system.
  4. Run a simulation of your business processes – check where bottlenecks or logic errors may occur in the flow of documents.
  5. Consider advisory support – if you have a large volume of invoices or complex processes, it is worth getting a consultation to draw up an implementation plan.
