Company in India

Why set up a company in India

India is the fastest-growing major economy in the world and an increasingly popular alternative to manufacturing in China. Lower labour costs, a huge supplier base and a market of over 1.4 billion consumers mean that European companies are moving their manufacturing, IT teams and service back offices there.

  • Lower manufacturing costs - clothing and textiles, IT, electronics, pharmaceuticals,
  • a huge domestic market and a growing middle class,
  • the EU-India free trade agreement - negotiations concluded in 2026, entry into force planned for 2027,
  • our Delhi office - local support, negotiations and partner verification.

How to enter the Indian market

  • 01Analysis and strategy - manufacturing, sales or a service team? We choose the entry model.
  • 02Partner verification - we check suppliers and counterparties on the ground.
  • 03Company registration - most often a Private Limited Company that is a subsidiary of a Polish or EU company.
  • 04Tax registrations - PAN, TAN and GST, bank account.
  • 05Ongoing support - accounting, regulatory compliance and settlements with Poland.
